Fortum RAS net profit soars 80% to 14 bln rbl in Jan–Jun

MOSCOW, Aug 2 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian power producer Fortum soared by around 80% on the year to 14.184 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a report on Monday.

Revenue increased by 6.1% to 41.652 billion rubles, the gross profit rose by 3.5% to 11.874 billion rubles, the pretax profit jumped around 80% to 17.752 billion rubles.

Long-term liabilities grew by 2.2% to 73.907 billion rubles, while short-term liabilities increased by 60% to 9.917 billion rubles.
